Paul S. Siegfried
Paul S. Siegfried of Lansdale,
formerly of Nazareth and Ambler, died unexpectedly at work Oct. 7, 2003,
in Wyncote. He was 57.
Born in Fountain Hill, May 22,
1946, he was a son of the late Stanley and Emma (Yob) Siegfried. He was a
graduate of Nazareth High School, Class of 1964.
He was a sergeant in the U.S.
Air Force, serving from Dec. 7, 1965, to Feb. 7, 1969, in Vietnam.
Mr. Siegfried was manager of
computer operations at IDP in Wyncote for 22 years. He also worked part
time at Sears in Montgomery Township for 20 years. He was an active member
of AA for 22 years and a former member of Nazareth Moravian Church, where
he was a member of the orchestra.
He is survived by a longtime
friend, Robert D. Umfer of Lansdale; a brother, Lester of Allentown; four
sisters, Elaine Siegfried of Nazareth, Catherine Silfies of Tafton,
Shirley Bennecoff of Nazareth and Martha Haidle of Bath; 13 nieces and
nephews; and 19 great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three
brothers, Ralph, Robert and Donald Siegfried.
Graveside services were held
Oct. 11 at Hecktown Hope Cemetery, Hecktown.
