“Jean” F. Brumbaugh
Georgean “Jean” F. Brumbaugh, 88
of Fort Washington Estates, Fort Washington PA. formerly of Renfrew
Ave. in Ambler, died Monday in the Fort Washington Estates.
Born in Boston, MA.(3-10-1916), she was
the daughter of the late John and Sarah (nee Grant) Milligan. Mrs.
Brumbaugh was preceded in death by her husband John F. Brumbaugh in
1986.
She was a Graduate of Ambler High School
Class of 1934.
Mrs. Brumbaugh was a devoted Wife and
mother who also worked as a member of the food service staff at Upper
Dublin High School for 15 years prior to her retirement in the late
70’s
Mrs. Brumbaugh was a member of
St. Anthony of Padua Church in Ambler, 3D´s at First Presbyterian
Church in Ambler.
She was a former Cub Scout Leader at
Trinity Episcopal Church and a Girl scout leader at St. Anthony's
Church, and was a Sunday School Teacher at Calvary Methodist Church in
Ambler
She is survived by three sons, G.
Thomas (Sally) Brumbaugh of Chalfont, PA; Joseph (Nancy)
Brumbaugh of Novato, CA; Charles F. (Carol) Brumbaugh of Hatboro, PA.;
two daughters, Joan M. (Butch) Coleman of Collegeville, PA; Sally A.
Bongart of Oreland, PA. and a
Daughter-in-law: Kathy Brumbaugh of Sun City Center, FL. Wife
of the late William “Bill” Brumbaugh who died in July of 2004.
She was
predeceased by her son John F Jr. and two brothers John & James
Milligan
She was the loving Grandmother of
14 and Great Grandmother of 2
Relatives & Friends may call Monday
November 29, 2004 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at St. Anthony Of Padua
Church Forest Ave. & Hendricks St. Ambler with a Funeral Mass at 11:00
AM with the Rev. Msgr. Stephen P. McHenry Pastor as Celebrant
Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery., Ambler.
