Phyllis W. Curley

Phyllis W. Curley, formerly of Ambler, died April 20, 2004, at her home in Telford. She was 77.

Born in Philadelphia, May 16, 1926, she was a daughter of the late James and Madeline (Sweeney) Watson. Mrs. Curley was preceded in death by her hus­band, Harry L. Curley, in 1987.

Mrs. Curley was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church in Hatfield and a former member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Ambler.

She is survived by three daugh­ters, Madeline M. (Charles) O'Brien of Glenside, Susan C. (Patrick) Gillen of Lansdale, and Jacqueline (Steve) Searle of Maple Glen; five sons, Henry L. (Lisa Buenaventura) of Boiling Springs, Robert P. (Barbara Watson) of Philadelphia, Bruce V. (Robin) of Mt. Airy, Md., Donald (Ramona) of Philadelphia, and Stephen (Sherri) of Lansdale; and 18 grandchildren.

The Rev. Monsignor Stephen P. McHenry, pastor, celebrated her funeral Mass April 24 at of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Ambler. Interment was in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.

Remembrances in her name may be made to the National Alliance for Mental Illness, 2149 N. Second St., Harrisburg, PA 17110-1005.
