Catherine E. Greene 97,  of Ambler, PA., died Thursday January 8th, 2004 in the Mercy Suburban Hospital , Norristown , PA.  

Born in Germany October 5, 1906, she was the daughter of the late John and the late Catherine (Berstler) Eberwine.  

She was a Machine Operator, employed by Lansdale Tube Co. and also worked in the Temple University Cafeteria, and Keasby and Mattison in Ambler.

Mrs. Greene was a Former Member of the Wissahickon Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.  

She was survived by one son: Robert R. Greene of Ambler, PA.; 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, James G. Greene, and a grandchild.

 Interment will be Wednesday in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ambler.
