Anna  Groarke

Anna  Groarke, 93 of  Ambler PA., died Monday, December 5th in the Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, PA after an illness. 

Born in County Mayo, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late John and the late Mary (nee Murray) Sheerin.  Mrs. Groarke was preceded in death by her husband Joseph J. Groarke in 1957 along with her sons, John  Groarke in 1980, Jim  Groarke in 1996 and Patrick  Groarke in 1980.

She was a Homemaker and a member of St. Joseph's Church in Ambler.

She is survived by three sons, Frank  Groarke of  Blue Bell, PA; Joseph  Groarke of Gwynedd Valley, PA;  Michael T. Groarke of Ambler; two daughters, Ann  Snyder of Schwenksville, PA; and Maryann  Groarke of   Upper Dublin, PA.

She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call Saturday from 8:30 to 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church Main & Poplar Sts., Ambler with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM with Rev. Daniel Cavanaugh, Pastor as celebrant.  Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Norristown.
