Grace E. Harkness

Grace E. Harkness, 82 of Ambler PA., died Friday in the Chestnut Hill Hospital Philadelphia, PA. after an illness.

Born in Philadelphia,( 7-2-1922), she was the daughter of the late William and the late E. Grace (nee Drever) Craig.  Mrs. Harkness was preceded in death by her husband J.  Brooke Harkness in 1980 and her sister Christina Craig Carr in 1999.

She was an Executive Secretary, employed by General Electric Company in Bridgeport prior to her retirement in 1984.

Mrs. Harkness was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Ambler and the Fort Washington Historical Society.

She is survived by Cousins. 

Relatives & Friends are invited to her Graveside Service 1:00 PM Tuesday Jan. 4, 2005 at the Ivy Hill Cemetery 1201 Easton Road Philadelphia with the Rev. William Kemp Pastor of First Presbyterian Church officiating.

 Remembrances in her name to  First Presbyterian Church of Ambler 4 S. Ridge Ave. Ambler, Pa. 19002 would be appreciated by the family.
