Josephine W. Lewis

Josephine W. Lewis, 76, of Lansdale PA formerly of Gwynedd died Friday in the Mercy Suburban Hospital Norristown, PA. after an illness. 

Born in Philadelphia, Pa. (12-28-1927) She was the daughter of the late Frederick and the late Ann (nee Greer) Woll.

She was a Homemaker and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Wissahickon Fire Company and the Delaware River Yacht Club

She is survived by her Husband Miles J. Lewis, a son, Alan M. Lewis  of  Lansdale, PA,  a granddaughter,  Terri Ann Lewis and a  grandson Alan M. Lewis, Jr.  She was  also predeceased by a son,  Thomas F. Lewis of North Wales, PA.

 Relatives and Friends may call Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. And Tuesday 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, Inc., 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Mr. Ross Beighley officiating. Interment will be in West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Pa.   

Remembrances in her name to  S.P.C.A. of Montgomery County 19 E. Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, Pa. 19428 would be appreciated by the family.
