Michael A.F. Monaco

Michael A.F. Monaco, 71 of Ambler PA., died Friday in the Abington Memorial Hospital Abington, PA after a sudden illness. 

Born in Norristown, PA. (12-31-1932), he was the son of the late Michael and the late Catherine (nee Fusco) Monaco.

He was a US Army Veteran.

He was a Self Employed Carpenter and contractor in Ambler.

Mr. Monaco was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Ambler and a former member of the Knights of Columbus Notre Dame Council.

He is survived by his wife Jeanne Marie (nee Wisienski) Monaco of Ambler; a son Michael A.F. (Sandra W.) Monaco of Harleysville, PA; four daughters Michelle A. (David L.) Woodward of Telford, PA; Linda M. Monaco-Shawver of Horsham, PA; Lisa J. Monaco of North Wales, PA; Deborah S. (Frank) Serrao of   North Wales, PA; and two sisters, Catherine (Ron) Schnell of Norristown, PA and Maria (Frank) Caiola of North Wales, PA. He is also survived by Grandchildren: Brandon Woodward, Reina Monaco-Shawver, Stephanie & Sarah Monaco, Tony & Alyssa Serrao

Relatives & Friends may call Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Anthony Of Padua Church, Ambler.  Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery Norristown.

Remembrances in his name to  SPCA of Montgomery County19 E. Ridge Pike Conshohocken, Pa. 19428 would be appreciated by the family.
