Doris Renner

Doris V. Renner of Ocean City, N.J., formerly of Ambler, died Jan. 21, 2004, in Shire Memorial Hospital, Somers Point, N.J. She was 86.

I Born in Norristown she was a daughter of the late George and Helen (Gotzsch) Kneule. She was the wife of the late Robert H. Renner who died in 2000.

Mrs. Renner was a baker for the Upper Dublin School District at Sandy Run Junior High School for 25 years before retiring in 1983. She was a member of the Upper Dublin Lutheran Church, Ambler, and the Pennsylvania Food Service Workers Association.

She is survived by a daughter, Darlene H. Korup; and a grandson, Joseph R. Korup, both of Palermo, N.J.

A funeral service was held Jan. 28 at Upper Dublin Lutheran Church, 411 Susquehanna Road, Ambler, PA 19002.

The Rev. Albert I Douglass officiated. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ambler. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Renner's name to Upper Dublin Lutheran Church at the above address.
