Herbert
Allison "Coach" Schneider, 67, of Notasulga, AL. formerly of Gwynedd
Valley, Pa., died suddenly Sunday, June 6.
Coach
Schneider was born and raised in Gwynedd Valley, Pa., on Jan. 28,
1937, son of the late Ralph Floyd Schneider and Marguerite (nee
Gambone) Schneider. He was a Graduate of Ambler High School class of
1955.
Coach
Schneider was a Master Farrier and Equestrian Coach at Auburn
University. He was a member of the American Farriers Association, The
Brotherhood of Working Farriers Association, National Beagle Club of
America, United States Equestrian Federation, and the American Horse
Show Association. Coach Schneider was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors
include his former wife, Emily Schneider of Columbus, GA.; two
daughters, Allison Schneider of Columbus, Ga. and Mallin Hopkins and
her husband, LaDon of Upatoi, Ga.; three grandchildren, Taylor
Hopkins, Emily Hopkins and Laura Schneider; three brothers, Joseph
Schneider, Ralph “Bones” Schneider of Gwynedd Valley, Pa., Joseph A.
Schneider of Ambler, Pa. and George Schneider of Maple Glen, Pa. ; two
sisters, Ann Donaldson & Mary Lou Heckler both of Ambler, a, and
numerous nieces and nephews.

memorial service was held 2
p.m. Friday, June 11 at Upatoi United Methodist Church, 13730 Macon
Road, Upatoi, Ga.
