Evelyn M. Wisser Evelyn M. Wisser, a homemaker, of Brightfield and formerly of Ambler, died Jan. 27, 2004, in the Central Montgomery Medical Center in Lansdale. She was 93. Born in Ambler, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Stella (Wolf) Groom. Mrs. Wisser was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Ambler. She is survived by her husband, LeRoy F. Wisser of Lansdale; two sons, William L. (Carol) of Line Lexington and Robert L. (Lois) of Ambler; three grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson. Services were Jan. 31 at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, Ambler. Interment was in Rose Cemetery in Ambler. Remembrances may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 26 N. Ridge Avenue, Ambler, PA 19002.
