Elizabeth Marie Bruno

Elizabeth Marie Bruno, 68 of Ambler PA., died Thursday in the Manor Care of  Montgomeryville, Pa. after a brief stay.

Born in Norristown, PA., she was the daughter of the late Elbridge and the late Catherine (nee Peters) Singleton

She was an Administrative Assistant, employed by Bisys in Horsham, Pa prior to retirement in December of 2004.

Mrs. Bruno was a member of Community Ambulance Assoc. of Ambler, Ladies Auxiliary of the Wissahickon Fire Company, Volunteer at Central Montgomery Medical Center in Lansdale, She was a former Crossing Guard in Ambler Borough and was a Girl Scout Leader. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed sewing and reading.

She is survived by her husband Anthony C. “Reds” Bruno of Ambler; two sons, Edward C. Bruno of  Skippack, PA, Robert W. Bruno of  Souderton, PA; three daughters, Susan M. Fulmer of  Jeffersonville, PA, Judith E. Tweedie of  Fort Washington, PA, Diane Coates of  Berwick, PA; 14 grand children, and one great granddaughter. She is also survived by a brother and sister, Jay Singleton Pottstown, PA and Carol Matticola Lehigh Acres, FL.

Relatives & Friends may call Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Monday 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, with a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM with the Rev. James Servey Pastor of St. Paul’s UCC in Ft. Washington Officiating Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ambler.  

Remembrances in her name to  Cystic Fibrosis Foundation,2004 Sproul Road Suite 208, Broomall, Pa. 19008 would be appreciated by the family.
