Michael J. Burke

Michael J. Burke ESQ., 52 of Doylestown PA., died suddenly Friday in the Doylestown Hospital Doylestown, PA. after an auto accident. 

Born in Duryea, PA., he was the son of Agnes (nee Guitson) Burke of Ambler and the late Joseph A. Burke.

He was a Graduate of Upper Dublin High School class of 1970, Penn State University Class of 1977 and Weider University Law School Class of 1991. Mr. Burke was an associate at McGlinchey & McGlinchey in Oreland from 1991 until 2002 when he started his own practice in Doylestown.

He was a US Army veteran and the #1 Rolling Stones Fan.

Mr. Burke was a member of Bucks County Bar Association, Corvette Club of the Delaware Valley where he had served as President.

He is survived by his wife Maureen A. Burke of  Doylestown, PA; a son Nickolay M. Burke of   Doylestown, PA; his mother Agnes G. Burke of  Ambler; three brothers, Neil J. Burke of Hatfield, PA, Kevin P. Burke  of  Columbia, MD, Jaime P. Burke of  Fort Washington, PA; two sisters Sharon E. Burke of Upper Dublin Twp., PA, Terri B. Borusiewicz of  Harleysville, PA; and 13 nieces and nephews.

Relatives & Friends are invited to call 7:00 to 9:00 PM Tuesday and 9:00 to 10:00 AM Wednesday at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, with a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM.  Interment will be in Doylestown Cemetery, Doylestown, Pa.

Remembrances in his name to  Sunshine Foundation, 1041 Millcreek Drive, Feasterville, Pa. 19053 would be appreciated by the family.
