Grace R. D'Alessandro

Grace R. D'Alessandro, 83 of Ambler PA. formerly of Lansdale, died Sunday in the St. Mary's Manor Lansdale, PA. after a brief stay.

 Born in Tyler, Clearfield County PA., she was the daughter of the late Anthony and the late Demsen (nee Pepe) Brancato.

She was a Homemaker, and formerly employed as a Secretary at the by Philadelphia Naval Ship Yard.

For many years she served as a parent volunteer at Gwynedd Mercy Elementary and High School where she did sewing for the Craft Bazaar and costumes for the plays along with baking for the many events.

Mrs. D'Alessandro was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Ambler. She is survived by her husband John F. D'Alessandro of Ambler; a daughter Grace D. (John J.) Samanns and three grandchildren, Christopher, Patrick & Bernadette Samanns all of Ambler. She is also survived by two sisters   Carolyn  Boccella of Warminster, PA and Helen  Viggiano of Rosemont, PA.

Relatives & Friends may call Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and 8:30 to 9:30 AM Thursday at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Anthony Of Padua Church, Ambler.  Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
