Michael F. Galarus
Michael F. Galarus, 62 of
Hatfield PA., died suddenly Wednesday in the San Juan Regional Medical
Center in Farmington, NM. while on a business trip.
Born in Pottsville,
PA., he was the son of the late Michael and the late Mary Peletsky
Galarus.
He was an Electrical Engineer,
employed by Philadelphia Electric Company (PECO) for 31 years in the
electrical generation division from 1967 to 1998; He then went to
Merck as a project manager on new construction for Day & Zimmerman
from 1998 to 2002 and for the past 2 years has worked for Zurich
International as a Risk Engineer.
Mr. Galarus was a member of
Corpus Christi Church in Upper Gwynedd where he served as a counter,
Bingo Volunteer, Lector and Usher and the Professional Electrical
Engineers Assoc.
He was an avid Golfer & Fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Marie
(nee Donato) Galarus of Hatfield, PA; three daughters, Terri (Steve)
Weber of Harleysville, PA; Sharon (Mark) Ferrebee Upper Gwynedd PA,
Leigh Ann (Eric) Miller of Granville, OH and grandchildren Hope
Ferrebee, Kevin & Ryan Miller. He is also survived by a brother and
sister, Albert Galarus of Pompano Beach, FL and Maryanne McArdle of
Conshohocken, PA.

may call from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday and 8:30 to 9:45 AM Friday at
the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, with a
Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in Corpus Christi Church Sumneytown Pike
Upper Gwynedd. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery,
Chalfont.
