Kathleen Higgins

Kathleen Higgins, 84, died Thursday in the Artman Home Ambler, PA. where she had been a resident. She was formerly of the Lawndale section of Philadelphia. 

Born in County Mayo, IRELAND, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and the late Bridget (nee Mulkeen) Caulfield.  Mrs. Higgins was preceded in death by her husband Thomas F. Higgins in 1987.

She was a Hostess at LaSalle University in Philadelphia for 29 years prior to her retirement in 1997

She is survived by two sons,  Michael J. (Dorothy Higgins Bryn Mawr, PA, Thomas G. (Christine) Higgins of Philadelphia; a daughter Mary C. (Jack) Gaffney of  Ambler; ten grandchildren; and three great grandchildren

Relatives & Friends may call Tuesday (Dec. 27, 2005) from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at St. Anthony Of Padua Church Forest Ave. and Hendricks St. Ambler with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Stephen P. McHenry, Pastor as Celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.   

Remembrances in her name to  St. Anthony's Church Memorial Fund 259 Forest Ave. Ambler, Pa. 19002 would be appreciated by the family.
