Frank A. Koons Frank A. Koons, 77 of Ambler PA., died suddenly Tuesday in the Mobey Hope Hospital Montego Bay, Jamaica where he was vacationing. Born in Norristown, PA. (8-22-1927), he was the son of the late Paul W. and the late Frances (nee Reihman) Koons. He was an US Army veteran. He was an Insurance Agent, employed by North Western Mutual Life Insurance and had his office in Norristown for the past 40 years he was a Certified Life Underwriter and Special Agent for the company. Mr. Koons was a member of Immanuel Leidy's Church in Souderton and was a former member of the Old Goshenhoppen UCC church in Woxal where he served as past President of the Consistory He is survived by his wife Mary Jane (nee Ferrett) Koons of Ambler, PA; five sons Mark S. Koons of Rhonert Park, CA, Matthew C. (Jennifer) Koons of Santa Rosa, CA, Andrew T. Koons of Dublin, PA, Charles R. (Heather) Rutalavage of Fort Washington, PA, Paul A. Rutalavage of Philadelphia, PA; three daughters, Christina M. Alderfer Schwenksville, PA, Susan E. (John) Osberg of Marietta, GA, Marta E. Koons of Minneapolis, MN, seven grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Lou Auinger of Colorodo Springs, CO and brother Paul J. Koons of Mustang Island, TX. Relatives & Friends are invited to call Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, And Tuesday 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Leidy's Immanuel Church, 276 W. Cherry St. Souderton. Funeral Service 10:00 AM with Pastor John Neiderhaus Officiating Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
