Frederick J. Kull

Frederick J. Kull, 75 of Dresher PA., died suddenly Wednesday in the Abington Memorial Hospital Abington, PA. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA., he was the son of the late Frederick and the late Agnes (nee Loeffel) Kull. He was a graduate of Northeast High School in Philadelphia and Marquette University, College of Engineering. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1-16-1953 to 4-06-1955 as a Civil Engineer Officer with duty in Japan and Okinawa.

He was employed by Philco – Ford Corporation for 33 years until early retirement and by Henkels and McCoy until his full retirement. His years with Philco – Ford enabled him to travel extensively throughout the world with his longest assignment being in Iran. A more pleasant assignment took him to the Gulf Coast of Florida where he and his wife lived for a year.

Fred id survived by his wife of 54 years, Amelita E. (nee Fernandez) Kull and with his wife enjoyed a very active life in Standard-bred horse racing. They have also enjoyed a busy outdoor life running their Dresher farm which includes an enormous rose garden.   

He is survived by his wife Amelita E. Kull of  Dresher, PA; a sister, Eleanor Linde of Avalon, NJ; a cousin  Anna Mae Cassidy of Vero Beach, Fl; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives & Friends may call Monday (8-8-05) from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at St. Alphonsus Church, Maple Glen with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM with Rev. Msgr. Thomas Owens Pastor as Celebrant.  Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.

 Remembrances in his name to  Dominican Retreat House,750 Ashbourne Rd.,Elkins Park, Pa. 19027 would be appreciated.
