John J. Liberto

John J. Liberto, 94 of Ambler PA., died Saturday in the Central Montgomery Medical Center Lansdale, PA.

 Born in Fort Washington, PA.( 10-8-1910), he was the son of the late Pietro and the late Anna Marie (nee Palermo) Liberto.  Mr. Liberto was preceded in death by his wife Anna Marie (nee Petruzza) Liberto in 1980.

He was a Presser, employed by the former Pools Pants Factory In Lansdale For 40 Years and at the same time worked part time for Acme markets and the former Palermo and DiRenzo Markets  in Ambler in the Produce Department  for 35 years. He retired in 1990 at the age of 80.

Mr. Liberto was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Ambler 

He is survived by a son Raymond P. Liberto of Frederick, PA;  three daughters Joan A. Skidmore of North Wales, PA, Marie A. Costanza of  Ambler, PA and Anna  Buschmeier of  Hatfield, PA. He is also survived by a sister Mary Boanni Bridgen of Hatfield, PA, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Relatives & Friends may call Tuesday from 6:30 to 9:00 PM and Wednesday 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church, Ambler with the Rev. Daniel Cavanaugh Pastor as Celebrant.  Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.

Remembrances in his name to  St. Joseph's Church, 16 S. Spring Garden Street, Ambler, PA.  19002 would be appreciated by the family.
