Hugh F. Lynch,

Hugh F. Lynch, 92 a lifelong resident of Ambler PA., died Monday in the Silverstream Nursing Home Springhouse, PA. after a brief stay. 

Born in Springhouse, PA., he was the son of the late Thomas and the late Mary (nee Schields) Lynch.  Mr. Lynch was preceded in death by his wife Mary C. Lynch (nee Correnty) in 1995.

He served in the US Navy from 07-15-1943 to 11-7-1945.

He was  a graduate of Ambler High School Class of 1931 where he was captain of the Track Team. He was an avid Hunter, Fisherman and Gardner

He was a Construction Superintendent, employed by Driscoll Company, Inc. of Springhouse, PA  for 33 years prior to his retirement in 1975.

Mr. Lynch was a member of International Organization of Operating Engineers Local 542 and St. Anthony of Padua Church in Ambler

He is survived by his  sister: Rita (Robert) Gable of Lansdale, PA and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, John and Thomas Lynch; and two sisters, Catherine Gloster and Mary Buczkowski.

Relatives & Friends may call Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, and Friday 9:30 to 10:30 AM at St. Anthony Of Padua Church Forest Ave. & Hendricks St. Ambler with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. 

Remembrances in his name to  St. Mary's Villa for Children 701 S. Bethlehem Pike Ambler, Pa. 19002 would be greatly appreciated by the family.
