Helen C. Macort, 82 of Ambler PA., died Sunday in the Manor Care Center Montgomeryville, Pa.

Born in Bryn Mawr, PA. (2-21-1923), she was the daughter of the late Albert and the late Annie (nee Campbell) Carfrey the youngest of 13 children.

She was a Graduate of Lower Merion High School Class of 1941.

As a young women she enjoyed Roller Skating, Dancing cooking and caring for her children, Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren.

She was a Waitress, employed by Wyndham Hotel and A Cashier At Hilton's Pharmacy In Ambler for many years.

Mrs. Macort was a life active member of the Wissahickon Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary of Ambler where she had served as President.

She is survived by her husband George  Macort of Ambler; two Sons, George (Nancy) Macort, Jr. of Montgomeryville, PA, Barry (Colette) Macort of Ambler, a daughter Kathleen A. Wandall of Ambler; five grandchildren, Ron and Joan Macort, Rusty Wandall, Shannon and Kimberly Macort; and four great grandchildren Ron, Jennifer and Kristine Macort and Geoffrey Horwitz. 

Relatives & Friends may call Friday (12-2-2005) from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 to 10:00 AM at  Anton B. Urban Funeral Home,1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, with a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM with the Rev. John Macort Officiating. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville.
