Margaret Mary Matthews Margaret Mary Matthews, 95 formerly of Ambler, died Thursday in the St. Mary's Manor Lansdale, PA where she has been a resident for the past 15 years. Born in Ireland (3-31-1909), she was the daughter of the late Philip and the late Mary (nee Carpenter) Matthews. She was the owner operator of the former School House Inn in Springhouse which she operated for 34 years prior to her retirement in 1966. Mrs. Matthews was a member of St. Anthony Of Padua Church, Ambler, PA. and the Legion of Mary She is survived by her Sister-in-Law Anne Matthews of East Lansdowne, PA and Nieces and Nephews. Relatives & Friends are invited to call Tuesday (1-18-2005) from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of St. Mary’s Manor Lansdale Ave. and 7th Street Lansdale with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Joseph Smits as Celebrant Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.
