Howard G. Price

Howard G. Price, 91, formerly of Havertown, PA died Friday at The Frederick Mennonite Community in Upper Frederick, Pa.  

Born in Philadelphia, PA., he was the son of the late Max and the late Sadie (nee Leggoe) Price.  He served in the US Navy from 3-18-1943 to 3-11-1946 during WWII.

He was a School Teacher, employed by Haverford school district and taught at Haverford Jr. High School and Haverford College prior to  his retirement.

Mr. Price was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ardmore.

He was preceded in death by his son Richard in 1964. He is survived by his wife Jeanette D. Price of Frederick, PA and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews

Friends may call Tuesday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler. There will be a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Jim Wolford Pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville, Pa.
