Hazel F. Risley

Hazel F. Risley, 87 of, Warminster PA., died Monday in the Chandler Hall Hospice Newtown, PA. after a brief stay.

Born in Columbia, PA. (12-12-1917), she was the daughter of the late George and the late Clara (nee Brunner) Fager.  Mrs. Risley was preceded in death by her husband Edwin A. Risley in 1992.

Mrs. Risley donated generously to many animal groups.

She was a Toxicologist, employed by Merck & Company in West Point prior to her retirement in 1974

Mrs. Risley was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Ambler for the past 50 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Penelope  Wood of Newtown, PA, Stephanie (John) Daugherty of San Jose, CA; and two grandsons, Michael & David  Daugherty and very lose friends Bonnie and Mark, Gregory and Tyler Irvin of Jamison, PA.

She was predeceased by her son Peter Duncan Risley.

Relatives & Friends may call Thursday (3-31-2005) from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Trinity Episcopal Church Highland Ave. & Bethlehem Pike Ambler, Pa with a Requiem Eucharist at 11:00 AM with the Rev. David Canan Rector as Celebrant. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville.

Remembrances in her name to  Chandler Hall Hospice, 99 Barclay Street, Newtown, PA 18940 would be appreciated by the family.
