Ruth Mayer Sage

Ruth Mayer Sage, 80 of Ambler PA., died Friday in the Chestnut Hill Hospital Philadelphia, PA. after an illness. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA., she was the daughter of the late Fredrich and the late Mary (nee Ford) Mayer of Fort Washington.

Mrs. Sage was a graduate of Ambler High School Class of 1943 and attended Temple University

She was a homemaker and had previously worked as an Administrative assistant.

Mrs. Sage was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Ambler and the Colony Club of Ambler.

She is survived by her  husband of 56 years Edward R. Sage of Ambler; a son, Stephen M. (Mindy) Sage; a daughter, Rita S. (Glen) Schreiner; and grandson, Andrew M. Sage all of Ambler

Relatives & Friends may call Wednesday from 8:30 to 10:00 AM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home  1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph's Church, Ambler.  Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery., Ambler.
