Alice L. Schaal

Alice L. Schaal, 80 of Springhouse Estates Lower Gwynedd, PA. a former resident of Norristown Road in Lower Gwynedd died Wednesday in the Abington Memorial Hospital Abington, PA. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA., she was the daughter of the late George and the late Edith (nee Roy) Cooley. 

Mrs. Schaal was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Schaal in November of 2000.

She was a Homemaker, and long time member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fort Washington.  She belonged to the Ruth Circle at Trinity and was a past member of the Lower Gwynedd Lions Club Ladies auxiliary.

She is survived by her Son James G. Schaal and his wife Amy L. of   Skippack, PA; a grandson, Adam Schaal, granddaug hter Taylor Schaal both of Skippack, PA; and her sister Gertrude Schmidt of Pine Hills, NJ.

Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a son Charles A. Jr. and brothers, George, Jr. (Bud), James, Harry, Roy, Robert and Sister Helen. 

Friends may call Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, with a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Marcia Bell Officiating. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.
