Jean E. Sheppard

Jean E. Sheppard, 79 of Harleysville formerly of Fort Washington and Ambler PA., died Saturday in the St, Luke’s Quakertown Hospital Quakertown, PA. after an illness. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA., she was the daughter of the late Louis  M. and the late Frieda (nee Lehmuth) Eble. 

She was a graduate of Abington High School Class of 1944 where she was an AAU Swimming Champion and a 1948 Graduate of Penn State University.

She was a Retired School Teacher, employed by Colonial School District for several years. Mrs. Sheppard was an Avid Gardener. 

She is survived by her husband  John H.  Sheppard of Harleysville, PA; two daughters Catherine S. (Silvio M.) Minardi of  Perkiomenville, PA and Deborah J. Sheppard of   Blue Bell, PA; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives & Friends may call after 10:15 AM Thursday at the First  Presbyterian  Church Of Ambler Ridge Ave. & Butler Ave. Ambler with a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM A memorial Luncheon will follow the service in the Church hall.  Interment was in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville.
