Hope G. Swisher

Hope G. Swisher of Ambler died April 16, 2005. She was 64. She was the wife of Merwin J. Swisher.

Born in Cold Point, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Maria A. Galante.

She graduated from Ambler High School, Class of 1958, and was a member of the National Honor Society.

Mrs. Swisher was a member of the Ambler Borough Council and Planning Commission. She was a member of the National Association of Legal Secretaries.

In addition to her husband, she s survived by a son, Mark of Coplay; a daughter, Faith DellaDonna of Graterford; five grandchildren; and a step-grand­child.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at 11 a.m. April 23 at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler.  Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Interment is private.
