 Walter W. Unruh

Walter W. Unruh, 89 of Chalfont PA. formerly of Marion Ave. Ambler, Pa., died Monday at his residence in Chalfont, PA.

 Born in Philadelphia, PA., he was the son of the late Herbert and the late Estella (nee Flicker) Unruh.

He was an Instrument Maker, employed by the former Leeds & Northrup Company in North Wales, PA.

Mr. Unruh was a Mason and a member of Fort Washington Lodge #308, Damascus Commander #95, LuLu Temple Shrine and was on the Stage Crew. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Ambler and had formerly served as a deacon, Ambler Stamp Club where he was the treasurer, Past president of the North Penn HI 12 Club, Wissahickon Fire Company where he served as Secretary for 17 years & was a Committeeman in Lower Gwynedd Township.

He is survived by his wife Mildred E. Unruh of Chalfont, PA; a son Walter H. Unruh of  Coventryville, PA; a daughter Elaine S. Decembrino of Chalfont, PA.; and 5 grandchildren

Funeral will be held Friday at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, with a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM with the Rev. William Kemp Pastor of First Presbyterian Church Officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia, Pa. Friends may call Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
