Beaver
Raymond G. Beaver, 85 of
Glendale AZ. Formerly of North Ridge Estates in Norristown, died
Saturday in the Hospice Of The Valley Glendale, AZ. After an
illness.
Born in Lansdale, PA.
(5-25-1920) he was the son of the late Walter and the late Sarah
(nee Gotwals) Beaver.
He was a graduate of
Lansdale High School class of 1938 and was a US Army veteran of WWII
serving in the Normandy invasion on the beaches of France. He was
one of the soldiers who helped to preserve freedom in the post war
world.
He was a Machinist,
employed by Turbo Machine Company in Lansdale for 13 years and for
the Pilling Company in Fort Washington for 11 years prior to his
retirement In 1984.
Mr. Beaver was a member of
of the Adult Bowling League at Facenda-Wittaker Bowling Lanes in
Norristown for more than 10 years.
He is survived by his wife
Eleanor D. (nee Danser) Beaver of Glendale, AZ; a son Wayne A.
(Mary Anne) Beaver of Phoenix, AZ; a daughter-in-law Anne Marie
Beaver of Philadelphia, PA; grandchildren Nathan (Kristin) Beaver,
Aaron (Susanna) Beaver, Colleen (Eugene) Gallagher, Lisa (Charles)
Fuges and Keith Beaver; and a great grandson Ian Fuges. He was pre
deceased by his son Gary Beaver.

invited to call after 10:30 AM Friday at the Anton B. Urban Funeral
Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, with a Funeral Service at
12:00 PM in Interment will follow.
