Marguerite M. “Peggy” Douglas

 

Marguerite M. “Peggy” Douglas, 91 of Lower Gwynedd., died Saturday in the Artman Home Ambler, PA. after a brief stay.

 

Born in Philadelphia, PA., she was the daughter of the late John and the late Margaret (nee Dearnley) O'Donnell.

 

She along with her husband operated the Douglas Bakery on Ontario Street in Philadelphia.

 

Mrs. Douglas was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church

She is survived by her husband Robert. T. Douglas of Lower Gwynedd, PA; a son, Robert (Roe) Douglas of Mt. Ephriam, NJ; two daughters, Virginia T. “Ginny” (Tony) Chiodo and Rose Marie (Lester) Jenkins both of Ambler; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren

 

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday from 9:00  to 10:15 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church Forest Ave. and Hendricks St. Ambler.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM with Rev. Msgr. Stephen P. McHenry as principal celebrant.  Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.
