Suzanne F. Felix, 75 of
died Thursday in the Spring House Estates Springhouse, PA.
Born in Abington, PA., she was the
daughter of the late J. Paul and the late Katherine McLean
Fitzgerald.
She was a graduate of
Jenkintown High School class of 1947 and a 1980 graduate of Temple
University with a B.A. in English. She was a 50 year resident of
Upper Dublin Township and was a member of the League of Woman
Voters. She served as a Democratic Committee Woman for Upper Dublin
Ward 6 and area leader for the 151st Congressional District. She
served as the uncommitted delegate to the Democratic National
Convention in 1976. She served as the Upper Dublin Parks &
Recreation Commissioner from 1980 to 1984 during the creation of
Mundock Commons. She was a past member of the Board of Trustees at
Norristown State Hospital. She was an award recipient from the
Chapel of the four Chaplains in Philadelphia. She served as a
Volunteer for the American Red Cross and as a employee from 1973 to
1984 and held the position as Branch Administrator for the Bucks
County Branch. She was a Member of St. Alphonsus Church in Maple
Glen for the past 41 years.
She is survived by her
husband John L. Felix of Springhouse PA; six sons, John L.
Felix, Jr.of Mt. Joy, PA, Francis X. Felix of Quakertown, PA,
Christopher M. Felix of Lansdale, PA, Paul B. Felix of Willow Grove,
PA, Philip J. Felix Jenkintown, PA, Theodore F. Felix of Horsham,
PA; a daughter Suzanne A. Anninos of Dresher, PA and 14
grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Virginia
Fitzgerald of Jenkintown, PA.
Relatives and Friends are invited to
call 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday and 9:15 to 11:15 AM Monday at Anton B.
Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, with a Funeral
Mass at 12:00 PM in St. Alphonsus Church, Maple Glen. Interment
will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville.
