Rose M. Freese

Rose M. Freese, 80 of Ambler PA., went to be with her Lord on Tuesday June 20, 2006 after a brief stay at the Artman Home Ambler, PA. 

Born in Ambler, PA., she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and the late Rosaria (nee DiFilippo) Casalenuovo.

She attended Ambler High School

Prior to her retirement in 1991 she worked as a Pretzel Twister at Tritvel´s In Lansdale for 25 years and as a sorter at American Olean Tile in Lansdale for 20 years.

Mrs. Freese was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Ambler where she was a member of the Social and Church Housekeeping  Committees and St. Alphonsus Seniors. She was an avid Bingo Player and enjoyed trips to the Casinos. She loved to make her famous Chocolate Cake for her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Earl “Bob” Freese, Sr. of Ambler; her son Earl “Bob” (Carol) Freese, Jr. of Telford, PA;  a grandson Earl “Rob” (Amber) Freese, III of Line Lexington, PA; and a sister Mary (Sam) Zeola     of Ambler. She was predeceased by brothers Frank and  James, Nottie and Salvatore Casalenuovo; as well as sisters Angela Barone and Carmella DeTuro.           

Relatives & Friends may call Saturday from 9:00 AM-10.30 AM. At St. Joseph's Church Main and Poplar Sts. Ambler with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM with Rev. Eugene Tully, Pastor as Celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.
