Lucia R.
Friedel, 83 of Ambler PA., died Saturday in the Artman Home Ambler,
PA. after a brief stay.
Born in Robern,
Germany, she was the daughter of the late Valentin and the late
Maria (nee Schmidt) Roos.
Mrs. Friedel
was preceded in death by her husband Friedrich “Fritz” Friedel in
1975.
She was a
Waitress, employed by Blue Bell Inn For 33 Years. She then was
employed by the Montgomery Inn in Montgomeryville, Pa. and the Peter
Pan Bakery in Lansdale, Pa. prior to her retirement in 2002.
Mrs. Friedel
was a member of St. Anthony Of Padua Church, Ambler, PA.
She is the
Loving mother of Karl F. (Gisela) Friedel of Robern, Germany and
Marita K. (Anthony) Bondi of Ambler, PA. She was devoted to her
grandchildren; Vera, Nora, Helga, Eva, Andrew and Katie. She
is also survived by her Brother Alois Roos of Germany and numerous
nieces and nephews.
Relatives and
friends may call Tuesday April 18, 2006 from 9:00 to 10.30 AM at St.
Anthony Of Padua Church, Forest Avenue and Hendricks St. Ambler with
a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM with Rev. Msgr. Stephen P. McHenry,
Pastor as Celebrant. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial
Park, Plymouth Meeting.
