Patricia Ann Gillespie

Patricia Ann Gillespie, 80 of Maple Glen PA, died Monday in the Brighton At Ambler after a brief stay. 

Born in Canton, OH. she was the daughter of the late Russell and the late Marie (nee Zangler) Kelly.  Mrs. Gillespie was preceded in death by her husband Raymond L. Gillespie in 1989.

She was a Registered Nurse & Homemaker.

Mrs. Gillespie was a member of St. Alphonsus Church where she was a past Secretary of the Home & School Association, school lunch program and the Church Cleaners, Abington Visiting Nurse Assoc where she was a Volunteer Nurse and educator and conducted well baby clinics. She was an avid bowler and bridge player and part of SAGA in Ambler. She enjoyed reading and old movies along with email and Internet following the political news.

She is survived by her daughters Maureen P. Gillespie (Eric Woollens) of Elkins Park, PA and Annie T. Gillespie of Roswell, NM. and her son Raymond Sean Gillespie of Maple Glen, PA. She was  predeceased be her  brother Louis Kelly.  

Relatives and friends may call Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at St. Alphonsus Church 33 Conwell Drive Maple Glen, PA with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM with Rev. Christopher Papa as Celebrant.  Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville.
