John B. Lynam Jr 

John B. Lynam Jr., 80 of Ambler PA., died Saturday in the Abington Memorial Hospital Abington, PA. after a brief stay.

Born in Elkins Park, PA., he was the son of the late John B. Sr. and the late Alice (nee Brady) Lynam, Sr. 

He served in the US Navy from 1-27-1944 to 5-6-1946 in the Pacific Theater.

He was a Golf Professional, employed by Old York Road Country Club In Lower Gwynedd For 28 Years and at Ford Electronics in Lansdale prior to his retirement in 1990.

Mr. Lynam was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, PGA (Professional Golfers Assoc.), USGA (United States Golf Assoc.) he was a former member of the McKinley Fire Company and the V.F.W.

He is survived by  his  wife:   Sue Ann (nee Sonetto) Lynam  of  Ambler, PA; a son, John B. Lynam; a stepdaughter Mary Ann (Ivar) Kalnin of Ambler; a great granddaughter Jennifer (Joseph) Dadura of Horsham, PA; a grandson John (Jennifer) Kalnin of Warrington, PA and a great granddaughter, Jessica Kalnin. He was predeceased by his brother and sister, William Lynam and Mary Trappler.

Relatives & Friends may call Thursday (3-2-2006) from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Friday 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Anthony Of Padua Church, Ambler.  Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ambler.

Remembrances in his name to  St. Anthony Of Padua Church Memorial Fund, 259 Forest Ave., Ambler, PA.  19002 would be appreciated by the family.
