Thomas Olley Peterman

Thomas Olley Peterman, 64 of Maple Glen PA, died Wednesday in the Abington Memorial Hospital Abington, PA. 

Born in Abington, PA, he was the son of the late Howard R. and the late Florence Ada (Nee Groves) Peterman. 

He was a Graduate of Cheltenham High School and attended the United States Naval Academy and the University of Pennsylvania. He served in the US Navy from 1961 to 1967. In 1966 he formed the Petermen Company , an Insurance Brokerage Firm in Springhouse, Pa. of which he was president prior to his retirement in 2004. He was the former Vice President of Affiliated Services Corporation of Conshohocken, Pa. , Past president and current Treasurer of the Society of the friendly sons of St. Patrick, Board member of The Irish Memorial in Philadelphia, Former Board Member of the Presbyterian Summer Evangelistic Committee. He was very active in the Boy Scouts of America and served on many Boards of Review. He was a member of the Presbyterian Social Union, Masonic Lodge # 51 F. & AM., Old York Road Country Club and the Sons of the American Revolution.  

He is survived by his wife Susan B. Peterman of Maple Glen, PA, his daughters Amy P.(Scott) Wolpert of  Wyndmoor, PA. and Anne P. (Michael) Morosky of Lansdale, PA and his Son Todd R. (Lisa) Peterman of Horsham, PA. Also survived by his grandchildren Catherine and Casey Peterman and Madison Morosky and his Brother Robert J. (Karen) Peterman of Huntingdon Valley, PA. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service at 11:30 AM Tuesday December 19, 2006 at Carmel Presbyterian Church Edge Hill Road and Mt. Carmel Ave. Glenside, PA.  Interment will be Private.

Remembrances in his name to  Boy Scouts of America, Cradel of Liberty Council, 1485 Valley Forge Road, Wayne, Pa. 19087
