Robert L. “Bob”
Fournier Jr., 60 of Towamencin Twp., PA., died Saturday after a
courageous battle with cancer at the University of Pennsylvania
Hospital Philadelphia, PA.
Born in Philadelphia,
PA. (9-13-1947), he was the son of the late Robert L., Sr. and
Florence M. (nee Morrison) Fournier.
Bob was a graduate of
Upper Dublin High School class of 1965 and was proud to serve
his country during the three years he spent in the US Navy. He
also attended Temple University and later in life furthered his
education at Stanford University.
He was employed by
Mack Trucks in Allentown, PA for over 30 years and was currently
the Director of Corporate Credit.
Those who loved him,
remember him for his limitless generosity and unwavering support
and devotion. Bob cherished time spent with his family and
vacations in Siesta Key, FL. He's fondly remembered for his
ability to fix just about anything.
He was a Director of
Corporate Credit, employed by Mack Trucks in Allentown, PA
He is survived by his
wife of 33 years Michelle A. (nee Russell) Fournier his
children Robert L. (Danelle) Fournier, III of Conshohocken, PA.,
Lauren M. (Jacob) Hartkorn of Norristown, PA. and Michael P.
Fournier of Towamencin Twp., PA. He was the devoted brother of
Elizabeth McCarty of Quakertown, PA, Kathleen Halpen of Maple
Glen, PA, Eileen Fournier of Ambler, PA, James Fournier of
Norristown, PA, William Fournier of Lansdale, PA and Michael
Fournier of Pocasset, MA.
Relatives and friends
may call Thursday from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at St. Alphonsus Church
Conwell Drive Maple Glen, PA with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
