John A. Kinkaid Jr.

John A. Kinkaid Jr., 83 died Wednesday in the Masonic Village Lafayette Hill Lafayette Hill, PA. where he was resident. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA., he was the son of the late John A. Kinkaid, Sr. and the late Helen (nee Ripley) Kinkaid.  Mr. Kinkaid was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane Kinkaid (nee Taylor) in 2003.

He served in the US Coast Guard from 2-5-1942 to 3-15-1946.

He was the owner of   John Kinkaid Heating And Air Conditioning a business started by his grandfather in 1917. Mr. Kinkaid retired in 1986.

Mr. Kinkaid was a member of Mitchell Lodge # 296 F. & A.M. in Jenkintown, Pa. and the  LuLu Temple Plymouth Meeting, Pa.

He is survived by his Son John A. (Mary) Kinkaid, III of Lansdale, PA and his Daughter Barbara K. (Todd) Long of Roslyn, PA he is also survived by 2 Granddaughters. 

Relatives and Friends may call Sunday (1-28-2007) from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, with the Mitchell Lodge F. & A.M. #296 Service at 2:00 PM the Memorial Service will follow with the Rev. Frank Sayford, Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Washington Officiating.  Interment will be in Private.
