Charles F. Kotarski

Charles F. Kotarski, 87, died Thursday December 20, 2007 at his home in Roslyn, PA. 

Born in Latrobe, PA, he was the son of the late John and Rosella (nee Racja) Kotarski. 

He served in the US Army from 1942 to 1945 in the Northern France and Rhineland Campaigns and received a Purple Heart and Siler Star for a battle in Holland.

He was an Account Executive, employed by Booth, Potter, Seal and Company a re-insurance broker in Philadelphia for over 30 years prior to his retirement in 1982.

Mr. Kotarski was a member of St. John of the Cross Church where he had a great devotion to the Blessed Mother, Disabled Veterans Assoc., and the James A. Flaherty Council # 3128 of the Knights of Columbus and was a member of the Fourth Degree Club. He loved bowling and baseball.

He is survived by his Wife Frances A. (nee Thompson) Kotarski and his children John E. Kotarski of Perkasie, PA, Mary Anne (Dean) Cooper of Perkasie, PA, Frances A. Miller of Plymouth Meeting, PA and Margaret M. Kotarski of Roslyn, PA. He was the loving grandfather of Jonathan Kotarski, Matthew, Shannon, Jeffrey and Brian Cooper, Jennifer Schoonover, Jason and Danny Miller. and was Pre Deceased by his Grandchildren Emily Kotarski, Rick Miller, and Peter Miller. He is also survived by his 8 great grandchildren. 

Relatives and friends may call Thursday December 27, 2007 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at  St. John of the Cross Church, 2741 Woodland Road Roslyn, PA with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.

Remembrances in his name to Alzheimer’s Disease Research,22512 Gateway Center Drive, P.O. Box 1950, Clarksburg, MD 20871-1950 would be appreciated by the family.
