Christopher D. La Rocque

Christopher D. La Rocque, 34 a resident of Penllyn PA., died suddenly Thursday July 5, 2007. 

He was born in Frankfort, Germany, and attended public schools in Germany, New Jersey and Pennsylvania as well as Temple University. Chief among his hobbies was fishing. He would usually take a day or two off at the beginning of every season to fish in the local lakes & streams. He also had an interest in photography and travel

Mr.  La Rocque was active in the financial services industry; in 1996 He joined Fleet Credit Card Services as a bankruptcy litigation coordinator. Five years later he joined Credit Management Services Inc. as a collection manager.

He is survived by his parents David W. and Maria A. (nee Lobenhofer) La Rocque of Penllyn along with his sister Elisabeth, several cousins, nieces and nephews here and in Germany.

Mr. La Rocque was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Ambler. 

Relatives and Friends may call Saturday July 14, 2007 after 9:30 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church Forest Ave. and Hendricks St. Ambler. Funeral Mass 10:30 AM with Reverend. Monsignor Stephen P. McHenry Pastor as Celebrant. Interment will be private.  

Remembrances in his name to St. Anthony’s Church Memorial Fund,  259 Forest Ave. Ambler, Pa. 19002 would be appreciated.
