John R. Marincola

John R. Marincola, 88 of West Ambler, died Monday in the Abington Memorial Hospital Abington, PA. after a short illness. 

Born in Ambler, PA., he was the son of the late Gregorio and the late Angela (nee Paone) Marincola.  He attended Ambler High School and served in the US Army in 1943 and 1944.

He worked as a deliveryman for the former Myers Dairies and the Abbotts dairies in Ambler and in 1959 He was hired as a Clerk at the Pa. Liquor Store In The Ambler Office until his retirement in 1979.

Mr. Marincola was a member of Wm. Bolton Dixon Post of the American Legion in Ft. Washington, Notre Dame Council of the Knights of Columbus, Social Member of the Wissahickon Fire Co. and Lodge Ruggero Bonchi (LRB) in Ambler.

He is survived by his wife Mary P. (nee Olivadoti) Marincola of Ambler, PA and his son Gregory Jack (Edythe) Marincola of Ambler, PA. He was pre deceased by his brothers Joseph, Nick, Paul, Frank, Dominic, and George Marincola. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends may call Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church, Ambler.  Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Ambler. 

Remembrances in his name to  St. Joseph's Church, 16 S. Spring Garden Street, Ambler, PA.  19002  would be appreciated by the family.
