J. V. (Bud) Pennegar

 Bud Pennegar of North Wales, formerly of Ambler, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 23, 2007.  He was 82.  Bud is survived by his 3 loving children, Helen Rosenthal (Jerry), Mary Lou Curran, Robert (Lee Ann) Pennegar, and 7 adoring grandchildren.

 A WWII Army veteran, Bud worked as a plant engineer for Weyerhaeuser, then Simpson paper companies in Miquon, PA.  He spent his retirement years making inter-company deliveries for Color-Con in North Wales and volunteering his time and expertise as a guide at the Wings of Freedom Museum, in Willow Grove, for the Delaware Valley Historical Aircraft Association. 

Bud was known as Daddy by his children, Poppa by his grandchildren, and as friend to countless other lives he touched.  He was a gentleman and a gentle man whose presence will be missed by so many. 

Relatives and friends may call Monday, October 29, 2007 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church 424 Main Street  North Wales, PA.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM.  Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont. 

Donations may be made in remembrance of Bud to either the Wings of Freedom Museum DVHAA, 1155 Easton Rd, Willow Grove, PA. 19090, or to the Abington Hospice (4 Highland), Abington Memorial Hospital, 1200 Old York Rd, Abington, PA. 19001.
