Janet F. Scott

Janet F. Scott, 77 of Ambler PA and Bradenton, FL, died Thursday in the Chestnut Hill Hospital Philadelphia, PA after an illness. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Bertha (nee Scheeley) Skyrm.

She was employed by Wissahickon School District for 35 years and worked in food service and as a bus driver prior to her retirement in 1996.

She is survived by her Husband Robert J. Scott of Ambler. She was devoted to her children Barbara A. Deturo of Bradenton, FL. And Gregg Scott and his wife Pam of Parrish, FL. She was the loving Grandmother of Heather (Paul) Saraceni of Ambler, PA, Scott Deturo of Bradenton, FL, Jeff Scott of Ellington, FL and Tiffany Scott of Hatfield, PA. She is also survived by her Great Grand Children Marisa and Dominic Saraceni and her Sister Betty Thomas of Ocala, FL.

 Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, with a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Frank Sayford, Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church Officiating.  Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville.
