Joseph J. Grieb

Joseph J. Grieb, 88 of Ambler PA, died Wednesday March 26, 2008 in the Abington Memorial Hospital Abington, PA. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA January 7, 1920, he was the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (nee Brady) Grieb.

He served in the US Army from 10-28-1941 to 9-14-1945 in the Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Ardennes battles and received a Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster.

He was a retired driver salesman for the Canada Dry beverage company in Philadelphia.

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you the day God called you home. Dearly loved and sadly missed by Ruth and Crystal.
