Louis Palmarozza

 

Louis Palmarozza, 81, died Saturday, March 15th 2008 at Abington Hospital.

 

Born in Irvington, NJ, he was the son of the late Peter and Ann (nee Meo) Palmarozza.  He was the husband of Tomasina (nee DiMario) Palmarozza for 59 years. He is survived by his daughters  Christina Sowers and her husband Don, of Blue Bell, PA and Kathleen Cappelli and her husband Piero of Gwynedd Valley, PA and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Peter Palmarozza, Jr. and his sister Joy Ann Silver.    

 

He was an Army veteran of World War II. After the war he joined his father, Peter Palmarozza, Sr. in the Capital Sign Company, which they grew into a national company.  His son-laws Piero and Don joined him in the business prior to his retirement.

 

He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Ambler, and avid golfer and a member of the Sandy Run Country Club. Throughout his career he was dedicated to community service and a member of many service organizations.  

 

Relatives and friends are invited to call after 8:45 AM Wednesday at St. Joseph Church 16 S. Spring Garden St. Ambler, PA 19002 with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.  Entombment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Norristown, PA. Remembrances in his name to the above mentioned church would be appreciated by the family
