 William B. Schimpf

William B. Schimpf  went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday April 8, 2008 at the age of 93. Bill was a former resident of Warrington, PA  and currently the Rockhill Mennonite Community in Sellersville, PA. 

Born in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia, PA., he was the son of the late William and Anna (nee Beitzel) Schimpf.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife of many years, Mary (nee Scott) Schimpf, his wife Nellma Frank Schimpf, and his brother Albert C. Schimpf. 

Mr. Schimpf was an Accountant/CPA for over 40 years.  He retired in 1977 from Philco Ford Aerospace in Fort Washington, PA.  

Bill was a faithful follower of His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, serving Him in many different positions; mostly financial boards and committees. He was active in the Reformed Episcopal Church for many years, and more recently Faith Community Church in Roslyn and Faith Baptist Church in Sellersville.  

Mr. Schimpf was an Eagle Scout for the Boy Scouts of America and served as Scoutmaster. He was a member of the PA Institute of CPA’s and the Northeast Christian Endeavor.

Bill was the devoted father of W. Scott (Deborah) Schimpf of Harleysville, PA. and Nancy (William) Schuler of Horseheads, NY. He was the loving grandfather of Amy Wolff, David Schimpf, Heather Smith, Todd Schuler, Dean Schuler, & Katie Jones and the great-grandfather of Maggie Wolff, Brinley Schuler, and Evan Smith.  He is also survived by his sister Emma K. Schimpf of Sellersville, PA.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday April 17, 2008 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Faith Baptist Church, Sellersville. Funeral Service 11:00 AM Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville, PA.  

Remembrances in his name may be sent to Faith Baptist Church Mission Fund, 700 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA  18960 would be appreciated by the family.
