Robert K. “Bob” Wenhold

Robert K. “Bob” Wenhold, 65 died Friday at his home in Horsham, PA.

Born in Sellersville, PA, he was the son of the late Kenneth B. and Eleanor (nee Cope) Wenhold.

He was a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy Class of 1961, The Citadel Military College of South Carolina, class of 1966. He entered the US Navy and served in Vietnam aboard the Aircraft carrier Ranger. After completing his service he returned to school and received his Masters in Business Administration from Temple University. Bob was an avid boater and was a member of the Wilmington Power Squadron and received his U.S. Coast Guard Captains License in 2008

He was a Program Manager for Merck & Company prior to his retirement in 2005.

Bob was the beloved husband of Mary Jane Wenhold (nee Howard) and the devoted father of Victoria "Vicki" (Michael) Sherry of Glenside, PA. and David H. (Nicole) Wenhold of Doylestown, PA., He was the loving grandfather of Matthew Kenneth & Owen Robert Sherry and Paige Nicole Wenhold. He is also survived by his brother William R. Wenhold of Summers Point, NJ.


Relatives and friends may call Thursday, June 19, 2008 from 9:30 - 11:00AM at St. Alphonsus Church 33 Conwell Drive Maple Glen with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.
