Frank D. Santoro, Jr., 80, formerly of Fort Washington, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at the Sarah Todd Home in Carlisle.
He was born on June 14, 1931 in Ambler, PA son of the late Frank D. Santoro, Sr. and Libra (nee Delladonna) Santoro. Frank was a graduate of Ambler High School class of 1949 and served in the United States Army as a Sgt. During the Korean War.

Mr. Santoro was a shipping and receiving specialist for over 25 years at NARCO Avionics, Inc. in Fort Washington prior to his retirement in 1981. After retiring he worked part time at the McNeill/Merck warehouse in Horsham for an additional 5 years.
Starting at the age of 14 he was a caddy at Sandy Run Golf Club in Oreland and for 50 years at Squires Golf Course in Springhouse, PA.
He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church where he served as an Usher, Bowled and was a member of the Grandfathers Club. He also attended and ushered at St. Joseph's Church in Ambler.

He was preceded in death by his wife Madeline (nee Pistilli) Santoro in 2005.

Surviving are three daughters Marie S. Reilley and her husband John of Ambler, Frances S. Thomas of Fort Washington, Nancy S. Schappell and her husband Ed of Camp Hill, three brothers Samuel Santoro of Norristown, Joseph Santoro of Lansdale, Michael Santoro of Ambler, and a sister Rose Guiliano of Harleysville, three grandchildren Kate Reilley, Michele Reilley and Lauren Thomas.

Relatives and friends are invited to call after 9:00 AM Friday January 27, 2012 at St. Anthony of Padua Church 259 Forest Ave. Ambler, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Msgr. Stephen P. McHenry Pastor as Celebrant

Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Norristown
