Dr. Monasky was one of the bettor professors I've had in all my years of schooling. He was always willing to teach if you were willing to learn. Great Professor. Better Man.

Although we didn't keep in touch for MANY years, George was a dear long time friend. We shared the fun of youth with friends and family. All precious memories. Since I have made it a tradition to place the "holy cards" of deceased family members and friends into my daily Missal, I placed George's under June 5th. I found it ironic that the Gospel for that day, the day of his death, was "The Sermon on the Mount" (Matt. 5, 1-12). George was the epitome of all those Beatitudes. "Blessed is he" most definitely. RIP dear friend. Celli

George was a GREAT neighbor for over 18 years and our fence-side chats were always fun and full of great stories. George will be very much missed by all who knew him. His sense of decency and humor will long be remembered. Warmest personal regards, the Koerner family

We had the privelege to be stationed with Cdr. Monasky in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where he was not only our family dentist and took great care of our teeth, but he was the proxy "godfather" for our son, Jay at his baptism. Once again we were lucky to be re-acquainted with George and Barb in the Ambler area when we retired frm the Navy. Farewell to a fellow "Groner" from Browndale, Navy veteran, dentist, professor, mentor and true friend. We will miss you ..... our prayers and thoughts to your family.

I worked with CDR Monasky in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. I will never forget the kindness shown to me by him and his family before my family arrived in Cuba. He was a great man, always there to help the young sailors, and always ready to pull practical jokes. He will be missed.

I worked with Commander Monasky in Newport, RI and I have many nice memories of our time together. My husband Leo Thibeault worked for him in the prosthetic lab there too. I will never forget the kindness of Dr. Monasky and his family when I passed through the Quantico area on my way back to Newport from school in Texas, Dr. & Barbara insisted I come for dinner, spend the night and get a fresh start in the morning. He used to call me Boston. I'm sorry for the Monasky Family loss. I wish I had stayed in touch over the years.

Dr. Monasky could teach you more with a well-timed eyeroll than some people could in an entire semester. He inspired everyone who worked with him to be their best and I will never forget him.

Dr. Monasky was such an amazing person who influenced more people then I think we will all know. He taught me more then just how to be a good dentist but more importantly how to treat people. He made everyone feel at home and now he is home again with his wife. I will miss him dearly and my heart felt wishes go out to his family. He was and is an amazing man. Thank you Dr. Monasky, rest in peace

As a recent Temple Dental grad, I witnessed Dr Monasky's sadness at the loss of his beloved wife. He brought me on the verge of tears on more than one occasion and always reminded me to love my wife and to enjoy every moment of life. I feel try blessed to have known him and my heart goes out to all that loved him.

My heart aches for his family. Dr. Monasky was like a second father to me during dental school. I learned everything about removable pros from that incredible man. He was a teddy bear. I am thankful to have known him all these years.

As students learned, he had a big bark and a gentle bite and they all loved him. Those of who were priviledged to work by his side admired him for his knowledge, humor and friendship. Lord how we will miss you. Dr Bill Woody

George, your kindness and generosity of spirit will always be with us. I have fond memories of you- both as my teacher and colleague. The impact that you made as an educator will be felt for many years to come by the hundreds of patients treated by the dentists whom you mentored. You will be greatly missed. My prayers are with your family.
